Volkswagen India has announced corporate edition of Ameo, Polo, Vento and Tiguan. Corporate editions are announced in the diesels models only. VW also announced that the discount is not applicable across the range. Corporate edition benefits are available on select variants of Polo, Ameo, Vento and Tiguan.
Offer is valid only for people from corporate sector. government employees, lawyers, Chartered Accountants , people working in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) can also avail this offer. The offers for the above mentioned VW models with variants are:
Volkswagen Polo is a premium hatchback and competes with cars like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz and Toyota Glanza. There are discounts and benefits of up to Rs 1.16 lakh on the hatchback’s diesel Highline variant. The Polo diesel gets a 1.5 litre, 4-cylinder engine that produces 89 Bhp of power and 230 Nm of peak torque.
Ameo is the compact sedan from Volkswagen india. It was specially developed for India to compete with cars like Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze etc. Ameo gets a maximum discount of Rs 1.31 lakh on all diesel variants. The diesel variants is powered by a 1.5-litre unit that generates a maximum power of 109 Bhp at 4,000 rpm and a peak torque of 250 Nm at 1,500 rpm. Volkswagen also offers dual-clutch 7-speed transmission with the diesel engine powered variants of the Ameo in the Indian market.
Vento competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, honda City, Hyundai Verna. Offers are available on Vento also. the diesel Highline variant of Vento is now offered at a special price of Rs 9.99 lakh. Apart from that, an additional discount of Rs 90,000 can also be availed by the customers. The diesel Vento gets a 1.5-litre engine, that generates 108 Bhp of power along with 250 Nm of torque and gets a five-speed manual or dual-clutch automatic transmission options.
Tiguan is the flagship SUV of brand as of now in India. There are discount benefits of up to Rs 4.5 lakh on the mid-trim, comfortline variant of the SUV. The SUV is only available with a diesel engine. It gets a 2 litre TDI turbocharged unit that churns out 141 Bhp of peak power and 340 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed twin-clutch automatic gearbox as standard. It competes with SUV’s like Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner in terms of pricing.
Apart from these discounts and benefits, Corporate edition buyers would get five-year warranty and five-year road side assistance which is one year more than the VW’s 4Ever Care Scheme.
